Darkness spread throughout heaven…and, all of heaven was filled with sadness…the moment when God heard his children on Malaysia flight number MH17 cry out for help…and, the angel choirs were silent…and, God wept openly for his children…

God wept openly as he heard from the pilots, flight attendants, and passengers on the plane that was headed for destruction on that fateful day.  His children were crying out for help.

The angels stood in silence…and God cried out in anguish!  His anger filled the air and for but a moment, the world fell silent as God’s children looked straight into the face of evil.  They looked straight into the face of evil and had no fear.  God comforted them.  He wrapped his loving arms around them and whispered in their ears, “Be not afraid for I am with you and I will give you strength. Soon you will be with me in heaven.”

Their spirits were released from the terror and destruction…their pain and fear were gone…they were drawn toward the light…God’s children were going home…The angels who had stood in silence one by one began to sing…God opened his loving arms to welcome his children, and heaven was filled with the light and love of God…God’s children were home…

Then the frantic heart wrenching prayers from his children on earth when they heard that they had lost their loved one – their wife, their husband, their father, their mother, their sister, their brother, their best friend… They too prayed… Each prayed in their own way and God comforted them.  He wrapped his loving arms around them and whispered in their ears, “Be not afraid for I am with you and I will give you strength.”

They asked God questions, they asked God, “Why do these people hate us?”  They asked God, “Why my husband?  Why my wife?  Why my fiancé?  Why us dear God?”  They asked God, “How can I go on?”  They cried out to him, “Oh God, show us the way.  Oh God, make us strong against evil.” …and God wept openly for his children…

United God’s children throughout the world continue to pray for those on Malaysia flight MH17 and their families.  United God’s children in countries big and small continue to pray in their own way and God comforts them.  He wraps his loving arms around them and whispers in their ears, “Be not afraid for I am with you and I will give you strength now and forever.”  Heaven and earth…God and his children…United…July 17, 2014.  We will continue to pray for the passengers and crew of Malaysia flight MH17 and their families… I feel their pain and their sorrow, and I send my heartfelt love and condolences to them…know that you are not alone…
