If I could describe myself in one word, that word would be a survivor. I have used my survival instincts to keep my sanity in many tough moments, survived abuse, loss, and came upon many brick walls that I had to climb because my family did not have a lot of money. I was the first to finish high school and graduate college. I became an art teacher and educator for over 16 years. I have been with my husband for over 10 years and we have a beautiful daughter. They are my foundation. I am currently creating artwork that serves as a message of hope and am writing on my blog, and hoping to start art classes and an etsy shop to help others in dealing with loss or need strength.
