Julie is an award winning social worker and widely recognized expert and authority on death, dying, and bereavement. She has lectured extensively to professional audiences, including guest lecturer at both UCLA and USC. Over the course of her career, she has counseled and assisted over 2,000 grieving families and was called in to provide grief crisis management during the Katrina Hurricane.
