Jane Mersky Leder

Jane Mersky Leder is an award-winning author/journalist with an abiding interest in the intricacies of human relationships. Her books about youth suicide, siblings, and love and sex during World War II all spring from personal experiences: the loss of her brother to suicide; the many ways in which her siblings shaped her life; the effects of WWII on the relationship between her parents and, as an extension, between the majority of men and women in this country. A baby boomer who survived the Sixties, Leder has a perspective on relationships and the promise of growth, acceptance, and change that she shares with her readers young and old. Leder currently spends her time in Evanston, Illinois, and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
