Lisa Braxton

Lisa Braxton is the author of the memoir, Dancing Between the Raindrops: A Daughter’s Reflections on Love and Loss, winner of a silver Living Now Book Award, a bronze Bookfest Award and an Outstanding Literary Award from the National Association of Black Journalists. She is also the author of the novel, The Talking Drum, winner of a Shelf Unbound Best Indie Book Award, an IPPY Gold Medal, a Living Now Book Award Silver Medal, and a National Association of Black Journalists Outstanding Literary Award. She is a fiction and nonfiction instructor at Grub Street Boston writing center. A caregiver activist, she gives presentations on caring for the caregiver and is a facilitator for Grief Share support group.
