Although Patricia has resided in Arizona for over 30 years, her heart remains in the Mackinac area of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the setting for Gifts of Sisterhood www.giftsofsisterhood.com. This is the area where she grew-up with her sisters. Their family home on Lake Michigan is owned by one sister, so she can always go home and visit her late sister at the flower garden and fountain just down the beach. Patricia has been a university faculty associate for almost 20 years and is currently affiliated with Arizona State University. She holds a Masters Degree in Organizational Management, the Advanced Toastmasters designation and was recently named to Who’s Who Amongst America’s Teachers. Patricia is currently researching and revising her second book in the Gifts series. It focuses on Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) and violence against women. Patricia is a two-time trauma survivor with violent crime and is thriving now in her writing as part of her healing. She is sharing her experience, strength and hope with other women by speaking out. This new work will be part memoir and part self-help. The workshop enhancement helps her give back to the women who still suffer and brings more awareness to the issues of women and violence in our society.
