In 1997 I lost my dog Shad. I came into touch with the grief 10 years later. It was the worst feeling I had ever experienced. I adopted 3 more pets. And as they have begun to transition ("die" "pass away") I have come to find out this is the worst kind of pain I have ever succumbed to .I lost my grand mother who was my best friend and who I idolized when I was a teenager. I was sad but not overwhelmed. I lost both of my parents in 2012 within 36 hours of each other. While losing my mother has been very difficult it is the loss of my pets that has impacted my life more than anything. I am a graduate of law school and an intelligent thinking. However grief is not an intellectual experience. I would like to help others with pet loss. I have no articles to attach but attached something I like since attaching an article for review is required. I haven't written any articles. But I believe I can!
