Steve and Stacy Parker are the bereaved parents of Alyssa, who died at the age of two in 1997. Since her death they have had two other children. They are very supportive of couples who have suffered a loss and have been involved with The Compassionate Friends since Alyssa’s death. Stacey has been a volunteer at Our House, and on the Cedar Sinai Medical Center and UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital. Stacey is the author of Grief As A Second Language.
