Jane Mersky Leder is an award-winning author/journalist with an abiding interest in the intricacies of human relationships. Her books about youth suicide, siblings, and love and sex during World War II all spring from personal experiences: the loss of her brother to suicide; the many ways in which her siblings shaped her life; the effects of WWII on the relationship between her parents and, as an extension, between the majority of men and women in this country. A baby boomer who survived the Sixties, Leder has a perspective on relationships and the promise of growth, acceptance and change that she shares with her readers young and old.
