Madeleine Herrmann: Loss of a Husband to Suicide

Through this loss she experienced pain, anger, guilt, and confusion, which she writes and speaks about with hopes of helping others to survive such ordeals. Mary Rondeau Westra; Death of a Son

Nadine Melhem; Trauma and Bereavement in Children

Dr. Melhem is Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh. She has been studying trauma and bereavement in children for the past decade. Richard Rosser; Keeping the Creative Spirit after Loss

Richard Rosser is a Children’s Author/Playwright/Cartoonist. While in high school, his brother died in a car accident. Richard has worked in the entertainment business since college. After watching a man steal a parking space from his mother-in-law, Richard created Piggy Nation. Tragically, Richard’s son Nick died in a car accident soon thereafter.
