Friends often become chosen family, and the loss can be devastating. On this show Dr. Heidi Horsley and guest co-host Doneley Meris, Executive Director of HIV Arts Network, discuss with Hal Bromm, founder of the Hal Bromm Gallery and Sur Rodney Sur, activist and artist, the friends who died, as a result of the AIDS epidemic. How communities came together and mourned the loss of so many young people will also be discussed, as well as the stigma and lack of support many with HIV/AIDS experienced.
