Mother’s Day Again
May 7, 2007
by Marilyn Heavilin Author of Roses in December Once again, here it comes. This day shows up every year, and I still dislike it. That day is Mother’s Day! Why should I dread it? Scott Preston Horsley II (1965-1983) Today is April 2nd. Scott and Matthew were killed on this day one minute before Easter. That was 23 years ago. It is hard to believe that the boys would be forty-one today. We will always remember them with such love. My friend Dinah Taylor sent me this wonderful poem. Such love to care so much for others. Dr. Gloria Dear Gloria, Remembrance You can shed tears that he is gone, Or you can smile because he has lived. You can close your eyes And pray that he’ll come back, Or you can open your […]
