Jenna Rogers is the Director of Advancement for Faith’s Lodge, a retreat facility that supports parents after the death of a child. As a bereaved mother, Jenna is passionate about helping others who have endured this tragic loss. Pamela Hagens: Helping Loved Ones After a Death

Pamela Hagens is a lifetime proponent of taking care of health through exercise and yoga. She currently teaches and inspires others on how to work with their grief through daily healthy practices. In July of 2013 she lost her 19-year-old son, Samuel. Wendy Lichtenthal: Helping Parents After the Loss of a Child

Dr. Wendy Lichtenthal is a researcher at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, and many of her interests focus on grieving. David Ferber: A Dad’s Grief

David Ferber is the father of Russell Ferber, who died in a car accident in 2002 at age 21. David soon joined, and then became the facilitator of a fathers group at The Compassionate Friends, the support group for grieving parents. Fay Green is a leader at The Compassionate Friends organization in San Antonio, Texas, and recently talked with Open to Hope’s Dr. Gloria Horsley at the Association of Death Education and Counseling conference. Green’s latest project focuses on “group processing,” saying that it helps those who have lost someone “recognize that they’re not alone in their grief.” While every loss is different, the same emotions and feelings are often experienced in each situation. Debbie Gossen: Remembering: Poetry and Pictures

Debbie Gossen is a registered nurse currently working in Oncology and a Nationally Certified Grief Management Specialist. Her daughter, Kristin Lund, died in 2001 at the age of 20 due to complications from an autoimmune disease.
